Jaye R. DeBates & Company was founded in the 1976 by Jaye R. DeBates. A carpenter apprentice to his father for two  years while they built their family home in 1970, Jaye started to become very interested in all facets of construction. Over the years Jaye has worked on many different projects, and has also taken many courses related to the construction industry. Jaye got the bug for roofing when he lived thru hurricane Alecia in Texas in the early 80's. The amount of damage created by that storm was un real.  Since then Jaye has studied and transformed himself to be one of the leaders in the roofing industry. Jaye is currently studying the LEED program and the sustainable building choices.
In 2010 Jaye was elected president of the professional roofing association of Illinois. PRAOI is an organization founded to help all state licensed roofing contractors and members.

AT Jaye R. DeBates Contracting Inc.no job is too big or too small. We have a large assortment of professional equipment, including elevators for taller buildings. We run background checks on all of our roofing professionals.

Jaye R. DeBates Contracting Inc. is a member of the Princeton Chamber of commerce. 
Jaye is also an Atlas Signature select roofing contractor.




Jaye is also An approved Wetsuit contractor.
